Being a paranormal investigator can be a very rewarding and exciting experience. FRAPS Team Members come from a wide variety of backgrounds and professions. However, we all share one passion; Paranormal investigating. Many of us have found great new friends through FRAPS and we continue to be involved and active in our communities. If you would like to join FRAPS and you fit into the following positions please contact us, we will send you the basic requirements and application for becoming a member. There is no fee to be a member in FRAPS.
Current Position Openings
Videographer/Editor:
Requirements:
- Must own or have access to video camera. Including lighting and other tools of the trade.
- Must have or have access to video editing software.
- Must have knowledge in video graphic design, Adobe After Effects or similar.
Description:
The FRAPS Team Videographer will operate and run all mobile video cameras. They will coordinate with the team leaders and will be responsible for all tape and video data. They will also prepare video for investigation evidence review and edit the tape and video data to presentable clips and shows. This position requires professionalism and cooperation with all Team Members and clients. There are no dress or grooming requirements, however you must be clean and well mannered. This is a non-paying position, however it is a great way to enter the paranormal and learn the basics of videography in extreme environments. You will also get several credits in the title and ending credits.
Videographer Assistant/PA:
Requirements:
- Must have good people skills.
- Must be clean and well groomed.
Description:
The FRAPS Team Videographer Assistant will work in conjunction with the Videographer/Editor. They will be responsible for all necessary paperwork including video release and waiver forms. They will assist the Videographer/Editor in all aspects of filming, including setting up and tearing down lighting and other aspects of the filming. They will assist the Videographer/Editor in final production editing and must be willing to travel to the editing location. This is a non-paying position, however you will receive credits in the ending credits.
